Born in Rome, Michela Gazzolo a.k.a Micky G. began her artistic career taking a degree as actress at the international actor school “Studio Fersen”. After a period spent performing in theatre, Micky started occasionally singing in a musical where she discovered her passion for music. Since that time, she began to work in different recording studios like background vocalist and lead vocal. Micky also performs in music-clubs with her band called “Da Face” singing pop/soul/R&B classics not only in Italy but also in USA where she met the queen of soul Aretha Franklin and her son Teddy Richards with whom she made a duet for her next R&B album. Moreover, she performed in few concerts with Jean Michel Byron, singer of the famous group Toto, while he was in Rome.

In the early 90’s she started her first record project called “H2O” with two other girls. After leaving the group, she began a solo career by recording a single called “Reaching Up The Sky” (1998) published by DBX Records. It was followed by “Seasons Of Love” (1999) released by Devotion Records-Self, “On The Radio” (1999), “Everybody Change” published by Energy Productions, “Do Me Right” pressed by Net’s Work Records and during 2004 “I Don’t Wanna Lose It” featured with Da Face on Paprika Records, all in the pop/dance/house area.

Besides, she is also preparing an R&B album where she sings, writes music and lyrics, and she wrote together with the producer Ricky Mazzamauro original soundtracks for scoring films (“Ho visto le stelle”, big success of Italian director Vincenzo Salemme) and TV serials.
