November 2007, Natalie Gauci was the toast of Australia having just won the country's biggest popular vote, Australian Idol. Millions tuned in every Sunday night for six months to the Channel Ten program, before eventually bestowing Natalie with the title series winner, Australian Idol 2007. What followed was the Platinum status (album sales in excess of 70,000) of the obligatory Winners Journey album and the sell out tour.
Fast forward a few years later 2010 New Years Day to be exact! A chance meeting with Mike Kelly, touring DJ and head honcho of cool German electro label Sorry Shoes provided the opportunity natalie ie had sought, the result a deep tribal undrground club track, "Without You". "Without You" climbed to the number 1 position on the European Club download chart aided by killer mixes from Progressive House ledgend Thomas Penton and Spanish master Nacho Chapado. International tour offers to perform club shows across Europe followed as did pleading from German label Sorry Shoes for a follow up single.

Feeling she had more creative aspects of herself to explore she put a follow up single on hold and accepted the offer to contribute original music and an acting role in the independant Australian feature length movie "Big Mamma's Boy". Natalie wrote two new songs, "Best of me" and "Do what you gotta do". "Big Mamma's Boy" will premier Natalie's two new tracks as well a cameo acting role in April 2011 when it is set for a general cinema release.
Having finished her final day in the studio tracking her debut album (due for release June 2011) Natalie ventured into the night and back into clubland. Holding up the bar, Natalie was introduced by close friend Gabby Colombi (Global PR) to producer Paul Brandoli (Antoine Dessante, Inaya Day), the sun came up and Tune In Tokyo was born.
Natalie and Paul hit the studio and knocked out the bones of what we now have as Tune In Tokyo's first single ‘Dreamer’
